The MTPD fosters awareness about national identity, as a cohesive whole, provides contexts and the impact these have on one’s role in the society. The company is a US based real estate firm that is offshoring its lease abstraction to Hungary, Budapest.
The interviewee works in construction in different countries including Germany, the United-Kingdom, The Netherlands and different Arab countries such as Saudi-Arabia, Kuwait and the United Emirates.
This case model is based on the interview of a school, situated in the Netherlands, that teaches Dutch as a second language. At the school, many people from different cultures come together on a daily basis and learn Dutch. Most people come from Iran, Syria, or Turkey.
For this interview, the vice president of a multimedia company was interviewed. In this interview, the cultural differences and situations of the interviewee were shared. The interviewee explained and gave insights on several situations where the cultural aspect is listed in. Furthermore, examples of inhibitive and prohibitive situations on the work floor are mentioned (Hofstede et al., 2002). The company consists of a very diverse company culture, where all the cultures and behaviours are respected. This is seen by the diverse ethnicities in the workplace with co-workers with an Indian, Polish, Russian and Japanese background.
The countries where they deploy their activities concerning asset management for real estate are Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom, Czech and of course the Netherlands. Within This company there are also four languages which are spoken: English, Dutch, German and Czech. The top of the hierarchy is obligated to master at least three languages. In general, they communicate in English. These languages function for internal communication and also for external communication since we have international clients.
Forensic accounting is a procedure performed by auditors, where they conduct an examination on accounting practices, that investigate fraudulent actions. Through this examination, fraud and embezzlement are addressed. The auditor then must determine where the questionable financing has been allocated, by asking the entity to explain the nature of a financial transaction in court.
We interviewed a senior level manager who deals with International clients in the following continents: South America, Asia and Europe. The company has over 800 clients based in 30 different countries. The interview was investigating the impact of culture in different countries within the flower sector.
The company that was researched for this specific assignment has offices in over 25 countries working in the international fishing industry.
